Finance & Grants Officer
Moeid Uzzaman Chowdhury is an active member of the Finance team at Aevyra Institute, where he supports policy research and economic initiatives aimed at improving governance and sustainable development in Bangladesh.
Currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), he brings a sharp analytical mind and strong quantitative skills to his work. With a perfect GPA 5.00 in both SSC and HSC, and a solid science background, he enjoys breaking down complex financial problems with the same logical, structured approach he uses in engineering. He is particularly effective in areas like budgeting, cost analysis, financial modeling, and exploring practical solutions for private investment and municipal financing.
Fluent in English and Japanese, he finds it rewarding to engage in cross-cultural economic conversations and bring different perspectives into policy discussions. His leadership experience has also played a big role in shaping how he works. As Corporal (CPL) in the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC), he served as a Section Commander, leading a small team through challenging training sessions, making decisions under pressure, and taking responsibility for the discipline and growth of junior cadets. He also achieved the First Class rank in Scouts, which strengthened his sense of teamwork, resilience, and public service.
These experiences combining analytical thinking, real-world leadership, and language skills help him contribute in a steady, responsible, and thoughtful way at Aevyra Institute. He is genuinely passionate about turning research and data into practical financial strategies that can support Bangladesh’s long-term growth.
