Chief Legal Officer
Sabik Marzan Siddiquee left Rangpur at a young age, moved to Dhaka, and made the shift from the national curriculum to A Levels with Law as his foundation. It wasn’t the simplest road, but it was the one that felt true to where he was heading.
That direction led him to ABM Altaf Hossain, a former Deputy Attorney General and Judge of the High Court Division of Bangladesh’s Supreme Court, under whom he spent time shadowing in actual court proceedings, understanding what law looks like when it operates in the real world. Following that, he joined Dhakafiles as a researcher, contributing to discourse around crime and justice in a meaningful and grounded way.
Outside of law, Sabik has taken on work across different sectors with the same quiet seriousness. He co-founded SAUM, a social initiative that drew international media attention for reaching over 500 people on the ground. As Volunteer Coordinator of the Global Studies Olympiad, he worked alongside 120+ volunteers to help deliver one of the country’s larger student academic events with over 800 participants. He also founded Verbarex, a studio working across games, AI, and robotics, which has won competitions worth over $5,000 in equivalent value and currently has a prototype game and robotic arm in development.
Connected to the Model UN circuit since 2022, he has built a consistent record of recognition across regional and university-level conferences, most recently earning Best Delegate at Chittagong University MUN 2026.
At AEVYRA, he takes on the role of Chief Legal Officer with a clear sense of purpose. His focus is on building a legal foundation that allows the organization to grow with integrity and operate credibly across borders. He believes institutions are only as strong as the structures beneath them, and that getting those structures right from the beginning matters.
Driven by the conviction that “The law tells you what’s possible. Everything else is just whether you have the nerve,” he brings to AEVYRA the kind of grounded resolve that comes from having already made hard choices and followed through on them.
